Karpacz classics - the most popular hiking trails:
#1 Red trail to Śnieżka, route length: 7.7 km, time: 3 h 30 min
One of the most popular routes to Śnieżka, the trail is rather calm and very scenic. You can also reach Śnieżka from Karpacz via the black trail (the most difficult) and the yellow trail. The trail starts from the Karpacz Biały Jar parking lot.
#2 Black trail to Kocioł Białego Jaru, route length: 4.1 km, time: 2 h
It starts from the Karpacz Biały Jar parking lot. The trail is very scenic and runs along the Złoty Potok. Picturesque views of valleys and stunning Karkonosze peaks. The hike can be continued towards Śnieżka or returned to Karpacz via the yellow trail, heading towards the Strzecha Akademicka Shelter.
#3 Blue trail to the Shelter at Przełęcz Okraj, route length: 17.5 km, time: 6 h
A trail of high difficulty level, for experienced hikers, due to the length of the route it is advisable to start the hike early in the morning. The route offers the opportunity to admire some of the most beautiful views in the Karkonosze, leading near Mały and Wielki Staw.
#4 Blue trail from Wang Temple to Śnieżka, route length: 9.7 km, time: 4 h
Another Karkonosze classic, it is one of the most frequently chosen trails. It starts at the Wang Temple, and during the hike you can visit: Samotnia Shelter and Strzecha Akademicka. The trail leads through a fairly flattened plain covered with tundra.
